Mission Statement
The Broome County Dental Society is a
constituent of the American Dental Society, The New
York State Dental Association and The Sixth District
Dental Society, representing more than 145 dentists
in the Broome County area. It is a non-profit
organization, whose objectives are to promote continuing
professional education for its members, to promote and
maintain the legal and ethical practice of dentistry
by its members, for the benefit of the public and the
profession.
Ask your dentist if he or she is
a member of the
Broome County Dental Society (BCDS).
BCDS provides communication with:
- The Sixth District Dental Society
- The New York State Dental Society
- The American Dental Association
BCDS provides local support for:
- Broome Community College's Dental Hygiene Program
- Children's Dental Health Month
- The Discovery Center
- Other Dental Outreach Programs
The BCDS helped establish Dental Max and other programs
to help serve the underprivileged. The BCDS brings
continuing education for dentists and dental staff members
